Baffin Island Gold
Hermitage Uranium
Storm Property

Commander owns six properties in north-central British Columbia hosting porphyry-style copper, gold and molybdenum prospects >> See Map & Historic Results. Mineralization is associated with Hogem Batholith intrusives and Takla volcanics. They are located proximal to access roads. Two (Abe, Pal) have drill-ready targets. With additional ground surveying the four remaining properties can be quickly brought to drill stage.

(Current Omineca Presentation, July 2011)

Numerous mines and sub-economic deposits have been identified in similar rocks extending northwesterly across the entire province. The Kemess Copper-Gold Mine is currently in production with a second deposit slated for production (Kemess North) in the final stages of the permitting process. Production is underway at the Mt. Polley Mine in the central portion of the belt. The Iron Mask and Afton mines at Kamloops, QE Gold and Princeton Copper are past producers being drilled again.

Improved metal prices and more favourable exploration climate has revitalized interest in porphyry targets in British Columbia. Commander welcomes joint venture proposals on these properties.

Location

Recent government mapping highlighted the mineral potential of the company's properties by P. Schiarizza.

The Abraham Creek intrusive complex was favourbly compared to the Iron Mask Batholith which hosts a number of porphyry deposits including the Afton Cu-Au deposit in southern B.C. currently being prepared for underground productions.

Commander acquired the Omineca properties by staking in 1990. Exploration work included ground magnetic and IP surveying, soil surveying, lithogeochemistry along with prospecting and mapping. Ten shallow holes encountered encouraging copper and gold values requiring further drill testing on Abe. Both properties exhibit classic geochemical and geophysical signatures characteristic of porphyry mineralizing systems. Lateral extent of the alteration and mineralization is indicative of large mineralizing systems. The limited drilling completed on Abe confirmed the presence of significant gold within the system.
